Great cliffhanger!! Leaves you wanting to read the next book. Love the author!! 12+ Septimus is shipwrecked!! When a freak storm strands Septimus, Jenna, and Beetle on an island in the middle of nowhere it can't mean anything good. With an injured dragon and limited provisions they must find their way home. But a dark spirit haunts the island and she has an evil plan for our senior apprentice.
The fifth book in the Septimus Heap series. Again, it takes a while for the action to start; we don't meet the Syren of the title until the second half of the story. Some new characters, but since most of the story takes place away from the Castle, we don't see a lot of the regular characters, so it balances out.
A lot of different storyline threads to keep track of at first, but they all meet up later in the book. A lot of excitement and cool Magykal stuff going on.
This is one of the the best in the series, aside from Fyre.
at first i wondered why they spelled magyk wrong
Book 5 in the Septimus Heap series.
Syren is a really good book, though I don't know why Syren is italicized. It isn't like a magical name, it's just a spirit name.
Ms. Sage needs to write another book after "Darke" b/c that would finish the story line. this book was probably the best, besides "Flyte"
I love the friendship and loyalty of the charactors in Angie Sage's books. It has adventure, fun and lots of action. a fun read
A bit hard to understand, but it's AWESOME! i don't get why other people say that it's bad.....
I love the "banana man".... he's so funny!
