Magician's Ward was a fun, quick read that combines elements of fantasy, mystery and Regency romance. It takes the plot of Pygmalion, but adds a dash of wizards, magic and courtship into the mix. Though the second book of the duology, this book can easily be read on its own. Recommended for those who love books featuring a feisty and capable heroine in a historical fiction setting.
