Great suspenseful cliffhanger!!! I LOVE THIS SERIES!! And I'm considering buying it. I almost never buy books but Iv'e fallen in love with the amazing character of Alex Rider. This book has Alex following an assassination attempt on his best friend's dad. When the killer is revealed to be the same person that killed his uncle Alex takes on the case as an attempt to "right his wrongs" so to speak. And we get a huge mystery throughout the entire book... What is MI6 not telling him about the assassin? And what does it have to do with Alex? 13/14+

The plot synopsis above is a terrible spoiler. It practically gives away the whole plot. Part of the suspense of the book is that it doesn't reveal what "Eagle Strike" means until near the end. The library should change this. Just use the tag line from one of the other editions: "Alex Rider has just 90 minutes to save the world!"

I loved the book. Yassen is my favorite character. I liked how he told Alex Rider the truth about his uncle. I also liked the plane fight and how Damian Cray died, that was interesting. This book is awesome!!!! as a 12 year old boy i highly recommend it.

Just finished this book, and I have to admit, I am a bit interested in spy stuff, (actually I just enjoy their super cool gadgets!) but is it just me; or is every book in this series better than the last??? I'm finishing each book quicker than the last!! I don't think I could possibly read any faster! :p
