Andy Barclay: Han Solo.
Chucky: Did you say Chucky?
Andy Barclay: What? No. Not even close.
Chucky: Chucky.

Chucky: I like that... Chucky! I'm Chucky!

You are my Buddi, until the end
More than a buddy, you're my best friend

Add a CommentThis is how you make a horror remake!
I really appreciate that they made Chucky an a.i. gone wrong instead of making him a killer again who transfers his soul. It would have just been a typical Hollywood horror remake done not as good. By making this change they made things quite unpredictable and not boring one bit.
Mark Hamill’s voice for Chucky is brilliant as it captures a child like innocence while doing terrible murderous things. Glad he was hired to do the voice.
Only issue I really had here was Chucky’s design looks kinda off and strange in a couple close up shots. But other than that a horror film I cannot recommend enough. See it for yourself.
I didn't think this would be a good remake. But I enjoyed it for what it was! Not a bad watch in my opinion! The cast is solid and it has a dark comedy tone to it.
A new and improved Chucky doll with AI enhancements. What could go wrong? There's humor as the doll goes full on psycho but you'd expect that from a Chucky movie. A mom who gets her son a weird doll has some parenting issues.
I went into this one thinking it would probably suck but I was surprised by how OK it was. Some parts get a little silly but Chucky is definitely still creepy as heck. This one was a fun horror flick that wasn't too scary.
Surprisingly awesome movie! I think I’m one of the only people who will say this but personally I like remakes better than the original (Child’s Play, Halloween, It, etc). Great acting, most of the characters were likeable, could even feel for Chucky unlike the original. I liked watching the progression of the characters. Definitely interesting, more realistic to the time we’re in now. Reminded me of Terminator. Overall awesome movie!
I thought it was good to except the mom she put her boyfriend ahead of her son. She gave bad parenting, and bad taste in men.
Entertaining enough. I did like the twist on the Child’s Play mythos, and made it relevant to the modern era.
I thought it was good even though I like the original better it was still pretty entertaining and great voice acting from Mark Hamill he did very well playing the voice of Chucky I think Brad Dourif who is the original voice of chucky would be impressed with his performance. I'm sure Mr. Hamill had big shoes to fill playing the voice of this doll but again he did awesome.
Good premise but, the movie was flat with bad acting. Hope this is the last of the Child's Play Franchise. These last couple of movies have been Bad! Bad! Bad!
like a lot of remakes, I thought it was going to be a laugh, but no. Surprisingly Creepy!
love that remake. design flaw of the a.i. chip, from a pissed off buddi employee at the manufacturing plant. awesome.
