My favorite series from the Ultimate Marvel Reboot. It was more mature than the others, and lacked the excessive dialogue of Ultimate Spider-man. The story lines are good, and enough has been changed its not a straight retelling. The main problem I found with it was lack of emphasis on what being a mutant really means in the Ultimate Universe, which does come in to play but to get the full picture of what this means, you have to have read Ultimate X-men. (Mutants are even more prosecuted here than back in Earth-616) Also, a lack of establishing the actual limits of Giant Man's powers, since he was shown to grow at will, but need "shrinking serum" to shrink back to normal, and a lack of establishing the hinted-at secondary powers and mutant effects on the Wasp. Also, in the second story ark, the aliens become violent suddenly and without reason. They attempted to explain it but it made no sense. Other than that, it was a very good comic. I recommend the Ultimates.
