VERY GOOD 1964 Martin Melcher/Doris Day continuation of their long and enjoyable efforts in film musical comedy. Just recently saw 1951 Moonlight Bay and 1953 Light of the Silvery Moon - both lots of fun and recommended. This one is in 'Way Out World of Space and Spies' (from trailer, I always watch those in extras) with Doris now in her early 40's - and looking as great as ever; showing off a bit more, too. Fun and whacky mysterious spy plot. I enjoyed Rod Taylor in his male lead role, and filling in the obligatory (in their movies) minor role of humorous side commenter Alice Pearce as the neighbor lady. I did spot (my movie eyes are pretty good, I guess) that in the sequence where Doris gets her heel stuck in the entry dust remover floor rolling gate in the lab, at first it was the left shoe, but then it magically (movie cut goof, I guess) it became the right shoe. Kind of surprised me that I spotted that, but I saw it again and verified it in the fun extra. Also fun to see Doris in her spectacular Mata Hari costume - and Paul Lynde in his drag outfit.
