‘Overexposed’ is the fourth studio album by American pop rock band Maroon 5. Before this album was released, Maroon 5 had an issue with the original release of ‘Hands All Over’ in September 2010. After the re-release of ‘Hands All Over’, including a new song ‘Moves Like Jagger’, the band had received massive commercial success. The members of ‘Maroon 5’ include Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn and PJ Morton. The album ‘Overexposed’ includes many songs of different style (some are up-tempo and others are downtempo). For example, ‘Daylight’ is a downtempo and relaxing song, while ‘Lucky Strike’ is a rhythmic and up-tempo song. My favourite songs in the album are ‘Daylight’, ‘Lucky Strike’, ‘Love Somebody’, and ‘Payphone’. I would recommend it for people who would like some inspiration and motivation because there are some songs that could impact your mood (e.g. ‘Daylight’). I would also recommend this album to anyone who enjoys listening to music, especially pop rock or is a fan of Maroon 5. - @newtricksterx of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library This all-time favourite album of fans of Maroon 5 gave us everything we needed in the 2010’s! Creative and articulate lyrics mixed with appealing vocals that were accompanied with innovative beats and sounds. Being the band’s fourth studio album, it gave listeners happy jams and also calming downtempo songs, a perfect mix of both moods for a wide range of listeners. My personal favourite tunes were ‘Payphone’, ‘One more night’ and ‘Moves like Jagger’, with the reason being that they had really strong, pumping beats and overall they were really fun jams that were booming on the radio too. I’ll rate this album a 4 out of 5. @AleenAther of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
