This film reminds me of the saying, "Even a broken clock is right twice a day." The one unquestionably good aspect of this film is that everyone of the characters were flawed. The film recognized that the issues it was dealing with were complex and every person falls short of whatever ideal we should be striving for on occasion even if we could agree what that ideal was. The film didn't shy away from that by pretending these were simple issues and that the problems were just a result of moral failings by one group of individuals or another. Outside of that it was pretty chaotically hit and miss. I mean there just wasn't any consistency to the quality of any aspect of this film what so ever. For example while some characters had just the right amount of flaws to be genuine and authentic (as previously mentioned) others were basically walking caricatures. This scenario applied to pretty much every aspect that you could judge a movie by it was occasionally amazing and occasionally terrible. It's unique in the sense that most movies tend to do a few things well and a few things poorly this movie did everything well and poorly simultaneously. TL;DR: I would recommend this movie for everyone to watch because of it's numerous strengths, while simultaneously cautioning them not to get their hopes up because of its weaknesses.
