If you are at all interested in hearing about what ex-Sex Pistols' lead singer, Johnny Rotten (aka. John Lydon) has to say about himself, his career, and the punk rock movement in pop music history, then, "Anger Is An Energy" is sure to be a worthwhile read for you. In an attempt to hold the reader's attention - Lydon repeatedly tries to retain a constant air of levity throughout his exhaustive narrative of 536 pages. But, when you take into serious consideration some of the downright nasty activities that he and his Sex Pistols buddies got up to, one does find it hard to see the humor in deliberate mean-mindedness. Anyway - For the most part - This autobiography of constant ranting and raving was certainly an odd, but, interesting read.
