Historical Fiction - November 2025 @SCCLD
November is National Native American Heritage Month to celebrate the rich history, culture and achievements of Native Americans and Alaska Natives. On August 3, 1990, President H.W. Bush declared the month as National Native American Heritage Month. This observance provides an essential opportunity for education, reflection, and appreciation of the diverse heritage that Indigenous peoples have contributed to the fabric of the United States. Here are some books to deepen the understanding of Native Americans.
